Firstly, welcome to my site! This site will showcase my experiences, aspirations and work related projects/achievements.
To give you a little summary, I attended Fanshawe College for three years studying Multimedia Design and Production. After graduation, I started working at a small start-up company where I worked for two years gaining valuable experience before quitting to travel. Don’t get me wrong, I loved it and still do. I have a very strong passion for what I do and a lot of people know that. However, I had a wonderful opportunity to go explore the world with my best friend that I couldn’t pass on, so I packed my bags and left.
Fast forward, 314 days and that brings us here.
After visiting 28 countries, 4 continents and seeing a lot of cool stuff, I was officially ready to come home.
I left on October 1st, 2014 starting in Munich, Germany and ending in Lima, Peru on August 10th, 2015. The journey began with my trusty MacBook Air which gave me the freedom to work with a couple clients as I travelled. After 7 months in Europe and a couple websites later, my friend and I decided to make a leap over to South East Asia. I made a wise yet difficult decision to send my third hand (my laptop) home after hearing some horror stories of theft. Thus leaving me with a phone and only that to work on.
Travelling was amazing and eye-opening in so many ways; experiencing different cultures, seeing wonders of the world and my favourite, trying foods from all over. Surprisingly, I missed work, routine and not so surprisingly my family and friends.
Again, I welcome you to my blog which will be a collection of thoughts, ideas and work related successes and/or projects. Feel free to comment or say hello, I promise I won’t bite.
